John William Ferguson was born 14 February 1915. Assuming he is almost two would place the picture in late 1916 or early 1917. Check out the curls. On back of picture it says this was taken before she had the flu.

Picture appears to have been taken by a photographer. Original is like a postcard On front my Dad has written "sister Jewell and I registering to vote." On back of picture is written "My babies".
1918 Presidential winner was Woodrow Wilson.

My Dad wrote on the front of several pictures. He had quite a sense of humor. He wrote "I am the one on the swing." He was about 5 or 6 years old when this picture was taken. In 1920 they were living in Springfield, Greene County, Missouri.

picture shows Edmon Allen with his mother Elizabeth Hartley Allen. They lived together for several years. In 1920 he was 53 and she was 74,

Arra and Ollie Rogers standing in front of farmhouse. the date of 1923 is an estimate. The frame farmhouse burned down when my mother was 6 years old in 1923. It was replaced by a rock house..

Melvin is on left and next to him is Ivan the oldest son. with Vernon standing next to father Arra "Ira" Rogers.

T.C. Ferguson was visiting his daughter Jewell and her family who lived in Ash Grove, Missouri. The picture was taken at the Ash Grove Lumber Yard where Albert Faucett was employed.

Someone has written on back of picture, maybe second wife Dee: "back roe from right to left Mr. T.C. Ferguson, his daughter Mrs. Albert Faucett, and her husband Albert Faucett, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Faucett two children. Miss Carolyn Sue Faucett and Miss Alberta Jean Faucett taken at the lumber yard in Ash Grove, Mo in July 1941. What appears to be on top of MRs. Faucett's hat is part of a stove pipe on a building in the back ground".

Date unknown but was before 1950 - picture taken at Kentwood Arms Hotel, built by John Woodward. The Crystal Room was well known for the beautiful chandeliers. My Dad is standing second from right (next to where picture was taped)
This Banquet was held by the Charles C. Meek lumber company for their office staff and lumber yard managers. My Dad worked in the lumber yard and eventually became manager at the lumber yard on South Jefferson and Water Street. He later became their office accountant.
He worked in a small office building on Commercial Street and later at their new office building on South Jefferson across the street from the lumber yard.

picture was taken in the home of Rev. T.C. Ferguson who lived next door to the Alta Vista Church, Jefferson, Daviess, Missouri. The house had two rooms. Rev T.C. Ferguson is 83 years old. Seated next to him is his daughter Jewell, with her daughter Carolyn holding her son Steven who was born in 1952. Their home was in San Diego, California. They wanted to visit T. C. and let him meet his Great Grandson.
